Pagan metal formation TVERD from Tver city begins the work at its new creation called “RUS“. This time Vetrodar (band’s composer) decided to embody his old idea of integral musical composition united with the general thought and history. The base of the composition is the same called poem of very talented poet, writer and publicist Ilyia Aleksandrovich Maslov (1984 – 2008), who unfortunately won’t be able to listen to the music for his genius poetry. The poem tells us about great heroic periods of time when the state “Rus“ was being formed and developed starting from the Ruric’s state’s rulling and finishing Vladimir Monomah’s rulling (IX- XII centuries). The poem is based on true history of Ancient Rus (the author used real historic and science sources).
All musical composition will be created in one epic style. TVERD band’s musicians invited the brass band and Russian folk instruments orchestra for opera’s recording. The vocal parties of the album will be performed by professional academic and folkloric vocalists.
During the opera’s recording Vetrodar is going to use 5.1 recording format for some compositions, that will let listener deep much inside into the opera’s atmosphere and spirit. Such recording format is not new but it will be the real discovery especially in frames of this genre for music lovers.
Besides the opera’s publishing TVERD has in plans separate publishing of the poem “RUS“ in a book’s variant a little bit later. To achieve this objection TVERD band combined its efforts with the group of professional artists and designers of “Insight Studio“. Specially for the European and English-speaking listener the poem completely will be translated into English!!!
Earlier TVERD band published its first album called “Follow the sun’s way“ where also Maslov»s poetry was used in some compositions. The album has got positive opinions from both listeners and critics not only over the
